Trustee Opportunity: Education & Outreach

Location: Remote / Home-based (with occasional in-person attendance, particularly for Bi Pride UK’s flagship event in London) Time Commitment: Approx. 10–15 hours/month, with additional hours required closer to events

About the Role

Bi Pride UK’s Trustee Board seeks a passionate and experienced Trustee to join the team, with a focus on Education & Outreach. This role will support the Chair of the Trustee Board, work closely with other Trustees, and collaborate with the Education & Outreach team to advance the organisation’s mission of celebrating and amplifying bisexual, pansexual, fluid, and non-monosexual communities across the UK.

Bi Pride UK’s Mission

Bi Pride UK exists to create spaces where individuals attracted to more than one gender can visibly thrive. We strive to ensure these communities are not just tolerated but celebrated, recognising that bisexual* people make up a significant portion—many estimates suggest over half—of the queer community. Our work includes:

  • Consulting with UK local Prides, regional LGBTQ+ organisations, and national networks to embed bi-inclusive practices
  • Organising our annual Bi Pride event, which evolved from the largest in-person gathering of bi+ people to a hybrid event (combining in-person and virtual elements)
  • Building an inclusive digital community to ensure resource access and connection opportunities for marginalised groups

*Inclusive of queer identities beyond binary attractions, e.g. pansexual, fluid, non-monosexual, etc.

About the Trustee Board

Trustees at Bi Pride UK hold legal and strategic responsibilities, including:

  • Ensuring sound financial management and alignment with charitable objectives
  • Meeting at least monthly (currently via conference call) on the third Monday of every month
  • Working with assigned teams—Education & Outreach being a key focus—to execute the charity’s visions
  • Appropriately delegating responsibilities while balancing broader board direction

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
