Overview

People. Passion. Pride. This is what has driven our teams since 1833.

Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at 350 locations in more than 65 countries, across six continents.

But at the heart of our business is our people.

Role Purpose

Coordination of all functions required to enable the safe, compliant, and on-time departure of aircraft within their scheduled turnaround times, in accordance with the Ground Handling Manual and company procedures. Dispatchers are responsible for ensuring the Menzies Aviation product is delivered consistently in line with service level standards set for both on-time and station performance. This includes close liaison with Load Supervisors, Ramp Team Leaders, and other operational staff who are responsible for the maintenance of safe standards, oversee ground equipment and stand conditions, and safeguard both punctuality and safety. The role also requires influencing and facilitating the consistent delivery of a “World Class” product to our customers and airline partners.

What You Will Be Doing

  • To consistently deliver the highest possible level of customer service at all times.
  • To effectively manage an aircraft's turnaround, giving support where appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Ramp Team Leader or Load Supervisor regarding inbound and outbound load, identifying and escalating any anticipated problems with staffing levels or equipment not already advised or resolved.
  • Ensure there is sufficient, serviceable equipment available to meet the flight (while not physically checking each item, the Dispatcher/TCO must confirm this with the Load Supervisor).
  • Ensure checks are in place to confirm the passenger arrival route is safe and ready, secured to present passengers to correct border security point, including doors open where required and appropriate passenger supervision to access the terminal or transport safely.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
