Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) Salary: £31,380 – £34,000 Location(s): Watford Hours: Full-time Working Pattern: Hybrid (at least 2 days/week in the Watford office)
About this Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and hardworking Accounts Receivable Controller to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Manage your own ledger of customer accounts.
- Own and monitor aged debt, minimising risk while maximising cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Collection & Allocation:
- Gather receipts in line with agreed terms.
- Allocate customer receipts.

Customer & Team Interaction:
- Resolve billing issues in line with agreed SLAs.
- Collaborate with internal teams for resolution support.

Invoice & Payment Processing:
- Deliver invoices and statements.
- Reconcile accounts to assess debt position.
- Handle debit & credit notes as required.

Payment Systems:
- Use customer Spend Management Portals (e.g., Coupa) to upload data and secure payments.
- Process monthly direct debit payments.

System Familiarity (Desirable):
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is advantageous.

Ad hoc Portfolio:
- Manage additional duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Qualities
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal competency, including proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel (including formulas and V-LOOKUPs).
- Attention to detail: Ability to consolidate repetitive tasks with patience.
- Prioritisation: Organise workloads efficiently and navigate multitasking demands.

Helpful Experience
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, or reconciliation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Finance-related).
