POST TYPE 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
LOCATION(S) Watford
KEY DETAILS Start: Open End: Wednesday 15 July 2026 Salary Range: £36,224 - £38,130 Hours: Full-time Work Pattern: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week / 60% of time in Watford office)
About This Opportunity
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of all used leased vehicles for the pre-loved range across the Tusker scheme. Your role will require:
- Authorising all work and preparing vehicles to ensure they meet the same high standards
- Effective cost management and allocating vehicles
- Ensuring an exceptional customer journey for Tusker’s customers
During the initial training period, new starters are typically required to work 5 days a week in-office until fully competent, unless an exception is negotiated.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of used leased vehicle preparation, finance approvals, and remoting adherence to high standards.
- Specialist inspection of vehicles: Allocate vehicles to the correct disposal avenue and authorize corrections for aftersales warranty teams (authorisation for bodywork repairs/SMR management).
- Identify and redirect vehicles below the required used car standard back to remarketing.
- Maintain an accurate used car stock listing (reflecting specifications, customer transitions, status).
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure efficient vehicle handover.
- Liaise with vehicle sourcing, ordering, and delivery teams to facilitate smooth drives-off.
- Interface extensively with external stakeholders (finance, dravequisition, suppliers, drivers).

What You’ll Bring
Essential Criteria
- Relevant experience in automotive dealership environments, including:
- Hands-on repair and maintenance knowledge (combustion and electric vehicles).
- Experience within workshop or service desk roles of a respected manufacturer.
- Prior cost control or audit functions particularly in the leasing industry (or similar).
- Stellar verbal and written communication skills for clearing complex vehicle operation details internally and externally.
- Strong administrative and technical analytical abilities for interpreting vehicle documentation.
- Recognition for letting your proactive mindset deliver your best; working productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office (essential); no coding knowledge required.

- Demonstration of working within a data-driven environment (e.g., in a franchised garage converting paper forms to digital systems).
