About the Role
We are looking for ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountants to join our growing Reading and Southampton team.
You do not need previous teaching experience. Full training and support will be provided. What matters most is your passion for sharing knowledge, your ability to engage and inspire others, and your technical understanding of accountancy and finance.
This role would suit someone who enjoys learning, collaborating with others, making a difference to students' careers and contributing to the growth of a successful business.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging classroom and online courses for AAT, ACA, ACCA and CIMA qualifications.
- Teach cohorts of students and apprentices in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
- Deliver courses in line with FI's teaching programmes, materials and quality standards.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs and encourage student success.
- Support apprenticeship programmes, including the delivery of professional skills and apprenticeship-related learning where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
