About the Role
We are seeking a committed Tutor Assessor Golf Greenkeeping/ Sports Turf to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Operate within an employer focused/skills for work framework offering initial assessment, ongoing teaching, learning and assessment, and advisory services to a caseload of apprentices and adult part-time learners
- Organise and plan the delivery of group and one to one teaching, learning and assessment for a specific assignment of learners.
- Support and motivate across the entire learner journey to help them in the development of industry standard knowledge, skills and behaviours as the Apprentices and adult learners progress, prepare for, and achieve at EPA.
- Enhance the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching, mentoring and instruction through a blended learning approach.
- Contribute to the promotion of excellence in teaching, learning and assessment, working as part of a team.
- Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Relevant occupational qualification to Level 3, or equivalent; Sports Turf, Greenkeeping
- Level 3 Assessor Qualification / willing to complete and must achieve this within 12 months of commencement in post)
- Level 5 or above Teaching Qualification / willing to complete and must achieve this within 3 years of commencement in post)
- Level 3 Golf/Sports Turf qualification
- Knowledge of apprenticeships and work-based learning
- Understanding and knowledge of the application of quality standards within an organisation
- Golf Greenkeeping/Sports Turf experience
