Job Description

Salary: £8,760 actual per annum
Hours: 11.1 hours per week
Contract: Permanent. Required as soon as possible

Location: Lowestoft and Waveney. The tutor will be based in the RF Learning Centre in Lowestoft or can be home based.

Realise Futures Learning, Coaching and Advice has a vacancy for a part-time Tutor Family Learning to join the Family Learning Team in Suffolk.

We are looking for a dedicated, flexible, creative tutor with a specialism and skills in English, Mathematics and Language or Early Years and a passion for working with parents/carers in a range of partner settings.

  • A minimum level 3 teaching qualification (level 4 for English, Mathematics and Language) and a subject qualification in the relevant area are essential.
  • Our tutors run short programmes in partner venues that encourage parental involvement in children’s learning and development.
  • Outreach delivery is the norm and a willingness to travel to deliver in partner venues is essential, so access to own transport is required, as are excellent communication skills, a positive attitude to working in partnership, and flexibility in the role.
