Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About The Role

At Aspris Children’s Services, we are immensely proud of the career pathway and training we can offer you. As long as you can demonstrate the values needed for a role, transferable skills, and life experience, we will give you all the training and support you need to progress!

The successful candidate will have a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed) or previous experience of teaching / tutoring hospitality and catering, as well as teaching and supporting young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including a range of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Education

You'll build positive, trusting relationships with learners who may have experienced barriers to education; and a calm, flexible, and empathetic approach to classroom management; along with the following characteristics:

  • Resilience: We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioral difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties, so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
  • Communication: Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
  • Organisation: You will have experience of organising, planning, and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each student's learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.
  • Caring: Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
  • Attentive: No two tasks will be the same, so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital.
