๐ Wolverhampton ๐ Full-Time | Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Vocational & Childcare Tutor to join our Wolverhampton centre on a full-time maternity cover basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support young people in achieving their goals, advancing into further education, employment, or apprenticeships.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners studying vocational and childcare-related programmes. You will empower learners to build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive vocational and childcare sessions
- Support learners to achieve qualifications and personal targets
- Integrate employability skills, maths, English, and personal development into delivery
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

- Passionate about education and supporting young people
- Experienced in delivering vocational or childcare training
- Skilled at engaging and motivating learners with diverse needs
- Organised, proactive, and effective in managing learner progress
- Confident working independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Essential Requirements
- Experience delivering vocational and/or childcare qualifications
- A relevant vocational qualification in Childcare (or related subject)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Prior experience working with young people
Desirable (bonus!)
- Teaching qualification (or a willingness to pursue one)
- Experience delivering Functional Skills or employability programmes
- Background in alternative provision or post-16 education
