Join All Inclusive Education and make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people across West Sussex. We are looking for experienced teachers and tutors to provide high-quality tuition for learners who need a personalised approach to education.
Working in partnership with local authorities, schools, and families, we help children and young people achieve positive educational outcomes. Our learners come from a wide range of backgrounds and may have anxiety, SEMH needs, medical needs, or disrupted education. Teaching is delivered on a one-to-one basis in the learner's home or within the community. The Role
You will:
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one tuition tailored to individual needs.
- Develop learning plans and deliver engaging lessons that meet each learner's needs and agreed outcomes.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning needs.
- Build positive, professional relationships that encourage engagement, confidence, and progress.
- Maintain accurate session records, attendance, and progress notes.
- Liaise professionally with parents, schools, local authorities, and other professionals where required.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional conduct at all times.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience teaching or tutoring children or young people.
- Has a good understanding of SEND and the educational, social, emotional, and medical barriers that can affect engagement in learning.
- Can adapt teaching to suit individual learning needs.
- Is organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status or relevant tutoring experience.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to travel to learners where required.
Desirable

- Experience supporting learners with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
- Experience working with children educated other than at school (EOTAS), alternative provision, or home education.
- Experience preparing learners for GCSEs, Functional Skills, or other qualifications.

This role involves regulated activity with children. The successful applicant will be required to undergo safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List check, verification of identity and right to work, qualification checks, employment history, and satisfactory references.
