Midwife – Band 6 (Flexible 12-Hour Shifts) – £22.21 p/h + Weekly/Monthly Pay

We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Midwives to join our Quality Team in our acute hospitals.

About the Role

  • Work in a supportive, collaborative team delivering high-quality midwifery care
  • Operate across various settings, providing holistic, individualised care to women/birthing people and their families
  • Drive forward an innovative, evidence-based service within our close-knit team

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all redisciplinary midwifery duties with excellence
  • Lead holistic, collaborative care for diverse patient needs
  • Contribute to team innovation, ensuring safe and cohesive working practices

Requirements

  • UK NMC registration (must hold a valid UK registration)
  • Minimum 1 year of NHS (or equivalent) experience as a qualified Registered Midwife
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, high standards and ongoing professional development

Location & Contract

  • Flexible shifts (12 hours), with competitive pay (£22.21/hour + Weekly/Monthly USS)
  • Based in east Sussex locations (Conquest Hospital, Eastbourne District General Hospital)
