SUMMARY

UAV Talent is seeking a hands-on UAV Maintenance Technician to join a growing technical operations team. You will maintain, integrate and provide field support for advanced UAV systems across a range of operational scenarios, including demanding and remote environments in the UK and Europe.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out UAV system modifications, hardware integration and troubleshooting
  • Conduct installations and maintenance at base and field locations
  • Work with engineering teams to integrate new systems and technologies
  • Deliver technical training and produce documentation for end users
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support, including in high-tempo or austere environments

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Technical experience in UAV systems or crewed aircraft, avionics, electronics or mechanical engineering
  • Proven hands-on experience with UAV integration and modification
  • Strong fault-finding, repair and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working in remote or challenging environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage clients and internal teams
  • Fluent English (C2 level)
  • Technical degree or recognised qualification in UAV systems, electronics, avionics or a related field
  • Previous field service or technical support experience, ideally in aerospace or high-reliability sectors
  • Applicants must be sole UK nationals and eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)

Desirable

  • Additional UAV or safety-related certifications
  • Military, aviation or high-assurance maintenance experience in operational settings
  • Existing UK SC clearance, or eligibility for higher clearance
