Job Title: AI Data Trainer with Linux/Ubuntu

About This Role
As an AI Data Trainer with Linux/Ubuntu, you will work remotely on an hourly paid basis to support AI data training projects through structured, detail-oriented tasks. You will install apps and record your actions while completing tasks with patience, concentration, and strong attention to detail. This role requires you to have your own computer running Ubuntu/Linux and to be comfortable installing the applications and tools needed for the project. You do not need advanced AI experience, but you should be tech-savvy, reliable, careful with instructions, and able to work independently. This role is a good fit for students, junior candidates, and tech-savvy individuals who are patient, focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with Ubuntu/Linux. This is a fully remote, hourly paid contractor role with a fast-growing AI data services company that provides AI training data to many of the world’s largest AI companies and foundation model labs. Your work will directly contribute to improving AI systems used across products and industries.

Your profile
Have access to a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux Be comfortable installing required apps, tools, and project software Be tech-savvy and able to follow setup instructions independently Be available for approximately 15 hours per week Be patient, concentrated, and detail-oriented Be able to follow written instructions carefully and consistently Be comfortable completing structured and sometimes repetitive tasks Have basic computer literacy and confidence using browser-based tools Be reliable, responsive, and able to meet task deadlines Student candidates and junior applicants are welcome Previous experience in AI data training, data annotation, QA, software testing, or research tasks is helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities
Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them carefully Install and use required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer Check work for mistakes before submission Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues when they arise Maintain focus during repetitive or detail-heavy tasks Complete assigned work within agreed weekly availability Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed Contribute to improving the quality of AI model training data
