Position: UI Developer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30 - $90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain intricate UIs using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Translate Figma designs and wireframes into pixel-perfect, reusable components with Tailwind CSS, SCSS, and Bootstrap.
- Ensure consistent and responsive design across devices and browsers through best-in-class coding standards.
- Implement performance optimizations and uphold web accessibility (WCAG) best practices throughout the stack.
- Integrate frontend components with REST APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and robust user interaction.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders using strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Own the frontend architecture, advocate for clean code, and actively participate in code reviews.

Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in the domain with a primary focus on React and TypeScript.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with responsive design methodologies and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong expertise in DOM manipulation, REST API integration, and frontend performance tuning.
- Mastery of version control using Git and collaborative workflows.
- Proven ability to convert design specifications from Figma into flawless, maintainable code.
- Deep understanding of web accessibility standards and UX principles.
