About The Role
We are seeking an experienced UI Developer to join our CDD (Customer Due Diligence) technology team within Group Economic Crime. This role offers the opportunity to be part of our global feature squads responsible for building and maintaining our new CDD platform, as well as migrating functionalities from our existing application stack. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to design, develop, and implement user interfaces that deliver a superior user experience in KYC (Know Your Customer) processes. The UI Developer will play a vital role in driving automation and efficiency in business processes through innovative front-end solutions, ensuring that our applications are responsive, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in front-end development with proven experience in React.js and related technologies. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS is essential. A solid understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, state management tools such as Redux or Context API, and responsive UI design principles is required. Additionally, experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating front-end applications with backend services, and knowledge of Micro Frontend Architecture will be highly valued. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Agile development methodologies is necessary. Candidates should also have a good understanding of application performance optimization, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack, and monitoring tools like App Dynamics will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions using industry-standard frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to define requirements, develop prototypes, and implement functional features aligned with business goals.
- Participate in code reviews, promote best coding practices, and share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Stay updated with emerging industry trends, tools, and technologies, and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
- Implement secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Develop and perform comprehensive unit testing to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Assist in integrating front-end components with backend services, ensuring seamless data flow and user interactions.
- Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and user guides to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
- Support deployment and monitoring activities, working with DevOps teams to ensure application stability and performance.
