About The Role
We are seeking an experienced UI Developer to join our CDD (Customer Due Diligence) technology team within Group Economic Crime. This pivotal role involves working closely with our global feature squads to develop and enhance our new CDD platform, alongside maintaining and migrating functionalities from our existing application stack. As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces that deliver market-leading user experiences in KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, while also streamlining business operations through increased automation. The role offers the opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge financial technology projects, utilizing modern development practices to create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development with proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and HTML5. A solid understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, state management tools such as Redux or Context API, and responsive UI design is essential. Experience with developing and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating front-end applications with backend services, and knowledge of Micro Frontend Architecture is highly valued. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and Agile development methodologies is required. Additional skills that will set candidates apart include experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack, and AppDynamics, as well as an understanding of application performance optimization, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning industry trends and a commitment to technical excellence.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and other engineers—to define requirements, devise solutions, and ensure seamless integration aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and actively contribute to the organization’s technical communities.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement comprehensive unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability of the software solutions.
- Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to support iterative development and delivery.
