UI /Front End Developer
UI Developer – Join Us in Delivering Exceptional Digital Experiences
About the Role
Join our team as a UI Developer to design, develop, and improve intuitive and high-performance software. In this role, you’ll leverage modern engineering methodologies to create seamless business, platform, and technology solutions that enhance our customers’ and colleagues’ experiences.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Core Development & Delivery
- Design, develop, and enhance software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Designers, Engineers) to define requirements, strategise solutions, and align with business goals.
- Engage in code reviews, foster a culture of quality, and share technical knowledge.
- Stay updated with industry trends and actively contribute to technical growth within the organisation.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Implement unit testing to validate code reliability, readability, and design.

Skills & Qualifications Required
To excel as a UI Developer, you should possess:
Essential Experience & Expertise
- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency in responsive and accessible design.
- Ability to optimise performance effectively.
Highly Valued (Not Exhaustive) Skills
- Experience with design systems.
- Knowledge of animation and micro-interactions.
- Backend integration expertise.
Assessment & Evaluation
Your performance may be assessed through technical skills (UI/UX, development) as well as broader competencies such as risk management, strategic thinking, business acumen, and digital transformation.
Location
This role can be based in Knutsford or Manchester.
