UX/UI Design Lead – Permanent, Reading
We're partnered with a global market leader in the manufacturing sector that is investing heavily in its digital transformation. As part of this journey, they're looking for a UX/UI Design Lead to shape the customer experience across a suite of global digital platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced design leader to own the design system, lead a talented UX/UI team, and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing to deliver user-centred, commercially driven digital experiences.

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience leading UX/UI design in a commercial environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and business impact
- Experience managing and mentoring design teams
- Expert knowledge of Figma and design systems
- Strong understanding of user research and analytics-led design
- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams in Agile environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with AI-powered design tools would be advantageous

What you'll be doing:
- Lead and develop the UX/UI Design team
- Own and evolve the organisation's digital design system
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences
- Use user research and analytics to inform design decisions
- Facilitate workshops and present design solutions to senior stakeholders
- Create prototypes and oversee designs through to delivery
- Champion a customer-first approach while balancing commercial objectives and delivery timelines
