About Always Win Limited
Always Win Limited is a growing financial technology organisation dedicated to helping investors make more informed decisions through high-quality financial analysis and innovative digital solutions. As part of an active company rebrand, we are developing a professional digital ecosystem consisting of our website, Android application, iOS application and investor-facing financial reporting platform.
We are seeking a motivated Volunteer UI/UX Designer to help create intuitive, engaging and visually consistent digital experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a professional portfolio while contributing to meaningful projects with real-world impact.
Role Overview
As a Volunteer UI/UX Designer, you will play an important role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of Always Win Limited. Working closely with the Head of Software Development and the Managing Director, you will design user-centred interfaces and establish a cohesive design system across our digital products.
The role combines user experience design, user interface design, branding and visual communication, providing valuable experience across multiple aspects of product development within a growing technology organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for the Always Win Limited website.
- Create user interface designs for Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Design professional investor-facing financial reports, dashboards and supporting visual assets.
- Develop user personas, user journeys and information architecture to improve the overall user experience.
- Produce wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity interface designs using Figma.
- Design and maintain a consistent design system, including colour palettes, typography, icons, spacing and reusable interface components.
- Lead the development of the company's visual identity during the ongoing rebrand.
- Design logo concepts, logo variations and scalable vector graphics (SVG) suitable for digital and print use.
- Produce marketing and branding materials, including LinkedIn graphics, presentation templates, brochures and other promotional assets.
- Conduct usability reviews and recommend improvements to accessibility, navigation and overall user experience.
- Prepare developer-ready design specifications and assets to support implementation by the software development team.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisation's digital products through user-centred design principles.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Some experience gained through university projects, personal projects or freelance work in UI/UX or digital design.
- Proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, component libraries and developer handoff.
- Good understanding of user interface and user experience design principles.
- Understanding of responsive design for desktop and mobile devices.
- Ability to produce professional visual assets, including scalable vector graphics (SVG).
- Strong visual communication and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Digital Media or a related discipline.
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar design software.
- Experience contributing to branding or rebranding projects.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to support collaboration with software developers.
- Interest in financial technology, investment platforms or digital products.
