About the Role
Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario (remote: Open to hiring anywhere in Great Britain), this role focuses on segment-based sales (100–1,000 employees). The Account Executive, Customer Sales serves as a trusted advisor, developing deep relationships with Dayforce customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Educating clients on value and benefits of Dayforce products.
- Identifying opportunities to expand solutions through upselling and cross-selling.
- Managing the revenue pipeline to meet annual targets via proactive pipeline management.
Success is defined by quota attainment, effective Salesforce engagement, and strategic sales execution.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities:
- Align revenue targets: Lead qualified sales opportunities (upsell/cross-sell) to drive incremental revenue.
- Reach out proactively: Execute outbound prospecting (email, video, digital tools) and business social platforms.
- Customer-facing engagement: Deliver product info, follow-ups, and quotes to qualified prospects.
- Collaborate across Dayforce: Coordinate internal resources for seamless opportunity closure.
- Master Dayforce product knowledge to communicate benefits clearly.
- Digital sales expertise: Utilize modern selling techniques (outbound/social media) to build relationships and close deals.
- Pipeline management: Execute a territory plan to grow revenue; track/forecast metrics weekly:
- Dollar amounts
- Status and decision-makers
- Next steps in Salesforce
- Market & negotiation: Align with marketing efforts, participate in sales activities, and negotiate solutions.
- Account for additional assigned tasks as required.

Skills & Experience We Value
- Education & Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Sales Experience: 5+ years in sales (preferably in HCM/software/tech industries).
- Dayforce Knowledge: Familiarity with Dayforce products is a plus.
- Selling Expertise:
- Proven track record of upsell/cross-sell revenue growth.
- Value-based & solution selling methodologies.
- Ability to engage C-suite leaders, translate business goals into Strategic outcomes.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for complex stakeholder relations.
- Digital Proficiency: Comfort with AI tools, social selling platforms, and data-driven sales processes.
- Collaboration: Collaboration across cross-functional teams for deal progression.
- Prowth & Agility: Channel energy into quota overachievement (must exceed aligned goals).
- Sales Process: Proficient in Dayforce’s Digital Sales Process; manage multiple concurrent deals.
