We are seeking a new addition to our cohort in London - this is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct exposure to Private Equity Investors and industry leading executives. You will be considered for either an Associate or Senior Associate role depending on your experience. At Orbit, you’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one. You’ll take ownership of your work and have a real impact on our clients’ success. Promotion is based on merit, not tenure, and tenacity and initiative are rewarded. If you want to grow quickly in a role that values insight over Excel, apply now! About us: Orbit Partners is the leading global advisory firm connecting the best Industry Advisors to the best Private Equity Investors for high-impact collaborations. We support our clients in making better-informed investment decisions and building value-creation angles through collaborating with industry leaders who have the relevant expertise. Orbit Partners’ international client base includes most tier-1 Private Equity firms, and we operate globally with offices in London, Paris and New York. We only ever partner with one fund per deal situation. Our focus is on a select group of the most impactful Advisors, who can work in exclusivity with our clients to make a real difference. The role: As a member of our project execution team, it will be your responsibility to deliver game-changing Senior Advisors to our Private Equity clients. Your work has a direct impact on our clients’ ability to compete on landmark private equity deals across key economic sectors. Your day will be focussed on: Research: Quickly and thoroughly understanding industry ecosystems to identify and map the key companies and executives relevant to the deal. Communication: Sourcing, interviewing and securing experienced C-level executives and thought-leaders as advisors to our clients. Client Management: Present research findings to our PE clients and recommend the most relevant advisors for maximum impact on the given deal process. About you: You will be fluent in English, have native or near-native fluency in Spanish, and have the right to work in the UK. You will possess high-performance mindset, a desire to own your work and have a healthy dose of grit. You’ll be someone who thrives on constructive feedback, is coachable and driven to grow. You will have strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. You’ll have experience thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will be detail oriented and committed to excellence. Whilst prior (internship) experience in a commercial environment, such as consulting, executive search, recruitment, expert network or sales might be helpful in demonstrating your interest in the space, this is not essential. What we offer in return: Competitive compensation and incentive - a base salary of £40,000, plus bonus (Associate level), or £45,000, plus bonus (Senior Associate level). Rapid career progression for strong performers - top Associates have been able to earn promotion to Senior Associate in as little as 9 months. Exceptional exposure: opportunity to learn directly from leading industry executives and senior PE professionals. The ability to make a meaningful impact to our clients and your team from the start. Training and development: a clear roadmap for success, encompassing internal and external training sessions, targeted personal development support, a mentor programme and coaching-based management. Purpose and connection: team collaboration activities and meaningful, regular corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Access to incentives: immediate access to uncapped bonus based on individual contribution, and team and company incentives after 3 months. Health and Wellbeing Perks: Holiday leave increasing with tenure, private medical insurance, plus access to a range of health and wellbeing benefits including funded gyms and online classes. Hybrid working and premium office space: enjoy the ability to work on a hybrid basis up to 2 days per week post-probation, alongside access to a fully serviced office in Fitzrovia.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
