Role Description
The UK Based Sales Manager role at PureRoots is a part-time remote position responsible for growing sales within the UK market. This role involves:
- Identifying and qualifying leads
- Building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Presenting sustainable product and service offerings aligned with customer needs

The Sales Manager will:

- Conduct online meetings and presentations
- Manage a sales pipeline
- Prepare proposals and quotations
- Negotiate terms to close deals
- Track sales performance
- Report on key metrics
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure a consistent customer experience
The Sales Manager is expected to:
- Work autonomously
- Uphold PureRoots’ sustainability values in all client interactions
- Provide regular updates to leadership on market trends and opportunities
This role requires access to a phone, as most sales will be done this way.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or account management, preferably within sustainability, environmental services, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, relationship building, and customer engagement within the UK market.
- Ability to manage a remote sales process, including virtual presentations, online meetings, and digital communication tools.
- Solid understanding of basic sales metrics, forecasting, and CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sustainable solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage part-time hours effectively in a remote environment.
- Interest in or knowledge of sustainability, environmental issues, or corporate social responsibility.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is beneficial, along with prior UK-based commercial experience.
