Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Role

Reporting directly to the leadership team, you'll be responsible for establishing and growing the UK business.

Initially operating as a standalone Commercial Lead, you'll own every aspect of the UK retail strategy; from opening doors with major retailers to developing long-term customer partnerships and building the commercial capability needed to support future growth.

This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys making decisions, and wants to play a pivotal role in scaling an international consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the UK commercial strategy.
  • Establish the brand within the UK retail landscape - secure listings with major grocery retailers, pet specialists, and other relevant channels.
  • Lead commercial negotiations through developing compelling retailer propositions and JBPs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retailer performance to identify opportunities.
  • Lay the foundations for a scalable UK operation, scaling future commercial processes and ways of working.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a UK commercial team as the business expands.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Experience within branded food, drink, pet food, or wider consumer goods would be highly advantageous.
