UK Country Manager

We are exclusively partnering with a leading global cryptocurrency exchange to appoint a UK Country Manager. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to lead one of the company's most strategically important markets, driving commercial growth, regulatory engagement, and local market execution.

Reporting into the international leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the UK growth strategy, expanding market share, strengthening strategic partnerships, and ensuring the business continues to operate within an evolving regulatory landscape.

This role is ideally suited to a commercially driven leader with deep knowledge of the UK digital assets ecosystem, a strong network across financial services, and a proven track record of scaling businesses in high-growth, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the UK commercial strategy to accelerate user growth, revenue, and market penetration.
  • Lead all in-market business operations, ensuring alignment with global objectives while delivering operational excellence.
  • Drive local marketing initiatives, partnerships, brand positioning, and community engagement to strengthen market presence.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with regulators, financial institutions, payment providers, industry bodies, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, identifying opportunities and mitigating commercial risk.
  • Partner closely with Product, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Marketing, and Engineering teams to successfully launch and scale new products and services.
  • Ensure all business activities meet UK regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and external engagements across the UK.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
  • Analyse commercial performance through key metrics, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
