This Level 4: Associate Director (Senior Manager) role in Branding, Marketing and Communications (BMC) will see you lead a team of 14 people (across the UK and India), reimagining ey.com/uk as a client-centred, data-driven force that strengthens our brand, enhances discoverability, builds trust, and converts engagement into commercial opportunities.

The Opportunity
EY’s UK strategy is bold and future-focused, requiring a strategic, creative, and technically advanced leader who can drive a transformational shift in how clients experience our digital platform. Your responsibilities will span:
- Strategy & Insight: Leverage data to define content and user journeys, ensuring alignment with our commercial objectives and Regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team across content, UX, SEO, and digital delivery, blending creative hustle with disciplined execution.
- Technical Innovation: Stay ahead of digital trends (e.g., AI), integrating advanced tools to elevate content creation and site optimization.
- Business Impact: Actively involve EY’s disruptive range of services—from assurance to transactional strategy—to create compelling client narratives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Content Leadership
- Align ey.com/uk with EY’s growth strategy via data-driven content, SEO, and competitive analysis.
- Define and implement targeted client journeys, ensuring seamless alignment with sales and business units.
- Collaborate with Global BMC to maintain taxonomy, technical standards, andREGULATORY content pipelines (e.g., admin pages, audit reports).
- Proactively apply AI tools to surface high-impact content, reducing manual efforts while improving relevance.

2. Site Management & Optimisation
- Page performance: Ensure sites are live, links are clean, and content is updated to reflect latest EY value propositions.
- Content governance: Work with 16 service lines (Tax, Audit, Consulting, etc.) to localise and adapt globally approved materials.
- Prioritise corporate and regulatory content without compromising commercial focus.
3. Content Creation & Delivery
- Partner with 14 team members (including DMs and page builders) to meet deadlines, managing regional content while inheriting global assets.
- Champion simplified content workflows to make alignment with business stakeholders easier.
- Enhance messaging use of AI-assistance while retaining elevated brand voice and storytelling.
4. Measurement & Insights
- Deliver bi-weekly performance insights on traffic, search rankings, user behaviour, and competitor benchmarks via AI-enhanced visualisations.
- Enable stakeholders to translate data into actionable recommendations for site performance.
5. Innovation & Digital Advocacy
- Keep pace with emerging tech (e.g., AI impacts on SEO) and propose use cases for EY.com/uk.
- Advocate for test-and-learn programmes to pilot new features or processes.
6. Team & Cross-Organisational Leadership
- Cultivate a cohesive, collaborative team across multiple time zones.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Global/EMEIA BMC colleagues, guiding digital investment and long-term strategy.
Candidate Profile
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Visionary leadership: A forward-thinking mindset to drive coalition around digital growth targets.
- Stakeholder acumen: Strong persistence in shaping consensus, including saying no to low-priority requests.
- Commercial creativity: Experience crafting high-impact content (e.g., SEO, funnel-building, campaign narratives).
- Technical expertise: Deep exposure to website strategy/UX, Adobe AEM, marketing automation, and development frameworks.
- Innovation rigor: Willingness to embrace AI and test new tools without losing the human element.
- Transparencies Sensitivity: Ability to rapidly execute via pilots, whilst maintaining alignment with global rules.
- Resilience-minded: A record managing volatile or large-scale adopive programmes.

Must-Have Experience
- Proven transformation leadership, especially in complex, matrix environments.
- Senior-level digital role (preferably in a fortune 500 Big 4, or similar B2B organisation).

- Track record of merging digital objectives with strategic business outcomes.
