Focusing on these global challenges, this role requires a strategic digital leader to elevate the UK EY.com site into a transformational experience. This includes aligning the site with EY’s vision, fostering a client-centric journey, strengthening brand detractability, and converting site visits into meaningful engagement.
As the UK Digital Leader, you’ll lead a team of 14 across the UK and India, delivering:
- Proven digital transformation strategy for EY’s site.
- Data-driven recommendations for UK content and experience strategy via alfeng.
- Collaborative partnerships with BMC and business stakeholders for content strategy, execution, and optimisation.
- Alignment with Global web guidelines while reflecting local priorities and innovation.
- Integration of emerging AI tools, relevant data insights, and scalable end-to-end processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
Strategy

Partner with business and BMC stakeholders to secure alignment on digital objectives that support brand and sales.

Develop data-backed strategy for content, conversion journeys, engagement optimisation, SEO, and competitive benchmarking, focusing on key business and service area priorities.

Guide client journeys, vet site and marketing automation conversion initiatives, and embed performance measurement dismantling client success.

Content governance Ensure timely, localised or inherited Global content activation while maintaining sleek regulatory and brand compliance content processes across high-priority services and corporate updates. Prioritise content requests based on business needs and regulatory requirements. Champion AI-driven content enhancement tools to unify client-focused experiences.

Technical & Operational Leadership
- Influence technical configuration choices—including website technology, UX/personalization, talent tooling, and analytics extensions—to ensure granular scale and optimisation.
- Work with Global teams to align on taxonomy, maintenance and ongoing technical governance.
- Conduct performance audits, ensuring no broken links or technical drift.
Site and Content Management
- Empower a remarkable Digital Portfolio Management team to manage EY’s strategic capability areas (audit, consulting, strategy, transactions; tax and law) and meet regulatory publishing standards through local teams.
- Workshop and resource web content teams to prioritise messaging that aligns with business needs, audience segments, and EY’s brand strategy—across both content type and journey.
- Collaborate with streamlined teams in India and amidst Global BMC guidance to ensure seamless integration and workflow.
Measurement & Analytics
- Regularly drive KPI-focused storytelling and decisions, reinforcing improvement priorities through traffic, search rankings, user engagement, and competitor benchmarks.
- Demonstrate rigor that ensures resources scale teams partnerships and engagements.
Team Leadership
- Build high-performing cross-functional teams with distributed managers, fostering a culture of innovation and alignment.
- Model leadership in agility and adaptability across matrix environments to ensure digital strategy continuously represents EY’s evolving goals.
Successful Leadership Qualities
- Strategic Agility: Proactively formulate vision and align teams while maintaining strong interpersonal and collaborative influence.
- Stakeholder Governance: Ability to balance audience needs, cross-regiment alignment, and intrinsic stretch—navigating business changes while prioritizing owner engagement.
- Digital Expertise and Depth: Proven technical competence in svx, (preferably) Adobe AEM, UX/UI, SEO, paas, and marketing automation.
- Learning Ahead: Deliberate pursuit of AI, trends, and innovations, quickly translating into resource capabilities for EY’s teams.
- Leadership Influence & Delivery;
- Confidently steer complex, dispersed teams toward high-definition teamwork delivery.
- Champion editorial processes, quality production, and collaborative, client-facing learning environments.
- Strategically work across last-mile teams—marketers, engineers, designers—to redefine what’s possible for all.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum experience equivalent to Senior Managerбран with strategic hands-on experience either in culture-analog roles or equivalent to hands-to-it positions after a formal collegiate or professional progression.
- Distinguishable track record: previous success producing high-impact digital experiences supporting ambitious company objectives.
- Relevant mindset: proactive, innovative communicator with a otherwise experience profile delivering digital excellence in industry similar to Big 4.
- Decision-making gravity: particularly the ability to determine high-leverage ideas that simultaneously maximize immediate outcomes while improving robust strategies.
