About the Role
We seek a bold, dynamic Digital Leader to redefine the digital presence of EY in the UK. The UK Digital Leader – UK EY.com Lead will spearhead the transformation of ey.com into a powerful platform that empowers clients to confidently navigate today’s complex challenges—from geopolitical volatility to sustainability—delivering ambitious growth through strategic innovation.
This is a Level 4: Associate Director (Senior Manager) role based in a Regional (Outside London) location with hybrid working (currently minimum one day per week on-site).
The UK Digital Leader will transform ey.com/uk into a client-centric, high-impact digital experience, ensuring a seamless, data-driven strategy that aligns with EY’s broader ambitions. This includes cross-facing with Global EY on website taxonomy, content pipelines, user experience, and forward-looking technology.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Direction
- Align ey.com initiatives with brand messaging, sales objectives, and corporate growth targets
- Develop a data-driven content and user journey strategy for ey.com/uk, surrounding priority products, services, and key corporate updates (e.g., reputation-building, scalability, and client experience)
- Utilise SEO, competitor analysis, and site performance data to optimise user engagement and conversions
- Prioritise content requests to ensure clarity, focus on strategic business goals, and regulatory requirements
- Embrace AI-driven content discovery tools to identify and preempt client needs across the UK digital platform
Site Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain up-to-date service/product page content (e.g., value propositions, contact details, thought leadership)
- Partner with Global EY on technical maintenance (taxonomy, accessibility, regulatory compliance)
- Ensure minimal technical fragility (e.g., remove broken links) and a smooth, user-friendly experience

Content Design, Build & Creation

Lead 14 digital team members (Portfolio Managers, Content Managers, Page Builders) across the UK and India, responsibly:
- Coordinating UK content pipelines aligned with Global content activations (Assurance, Consulting, Strategy & Transactions, Tax & Law)
- Localising and translating Global messages for UK relevance
- Rapid development of legally-required content (e.g., administrative pages, sustainability reports)
- Simplifying content workflows for stakeholders while maintaining brand consistency and quality

Champion AI-powered content tools to streamline messaging and drafting processes while retaining human authenticity and client appeal
Measurement & Analytics
- Provide regular performance reports (traffic analysis, search rankings, user-behaviour insights, competitor benchmarking)
- Translate data trends into actionable recommendations for site enhancements or content optimisation
Innovation & Digital Advocacy
- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends (e.g., search/SEO impacts of AI) and propose digital improvements for ey.com/uk
- Drive test-and-learn initiatives, automation use-cases, and scalable solutions
Leadership
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture, harmonising across Global and UK teams
- Strengthen cross-functional influence, particularly with BMC, EMEIA, and EY Leadership to shape digital strategy
Requirements for Success
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience
- Experience leading a large-scale digital transformation in a complex, multi-stakeholder B2B organisation
- Proven leadership in website strategy, UX design, SEO, and marketing automation (practical experience in tools like Adobe AEM is a significant plus)
- Deep content creation team management (aligned with commercial objectives)
- Strong ability to set tactical editorial guidelines and streamline collaboration for non-specialist stakeholders
