About the Team and the Role
eBay Live is redefining the shopping experience by bringing real-time, interactive, and curated live events to buyers worldwide. From collectibles and fashion to luxury goods and sports memorabilia, we’re connecting communities with sellers and creators through innovative, engaging live programming.
As a Live Producer, you will be responsible for accomplishing and optimising live shopping events, ensuring seamless production, seller collaboration, and audience engagement. You will have operations and production experience, but also strong customer empathy, and communication skills. You will be required to work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data science.

What You Will Accomplish
- Support and lead all aspects of the end-to-end production of eBay Live shopping events, ensuring seamless execution and engaging viewer experiences
- Support in creation of processes, playbooks, and cross-functional shareouts regarding Live programming
- Lead live video and audio production, including RTMP streaming operations involving OBS Studio, HDMI/SDI/ NDI camera operations, and the native eBay Live Platform, networking, and RTMP streaming setups
- Collaborate with category managers, sellers, and hosts to curate compelling live shopping events aligned with eBay’s e-commerce goals
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as GMV, viewer engagement, returning buyers, and event saves to optimize event strategies
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency, scalability, and quality of eBay Live events
- Work with marketing teams to develop pre-show promotions, push notifications, and event branding to improve reach and connection with the audience
What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in live video production, event management, or e-commerce content production
- Strong understanding of live streaming technologies, including video switching, OBS Studio, RTMP setups, and NDI networking
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with sellers, hosts, and cross-functional teams
- Data-based approach to decision making
- Passion for live commerce, digital media, and delivering engaging and innovative shopping experiences
- Some weekend work and travel may be required
