About the Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our UK Finance team, playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and delivering value across the business. This role offers the opportunity to partner with a wide range of stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Operations and Support Functions, providing financial insight, challenge and analysis that helps deliver performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with the Commercial Director and Commercial team to drive improved material margin through evaluating supplier performance, identifying opportunities for increased value and supporting commercial negotiations through robust financial analysis.
- Developing reporting and insight to highlight risks and opportunities together with recommended actions.
- Supporting payroll cost management through detailed analysis of labour costs, productivity and operational metrics, working closely with Finance, People and Operations teams.
- Providing finance business partnering support to a number of functions across the business, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting together with the development of recommended course of action.
- Developing financial models and business cases that support investment decisions and operational initiatives.
- Building strong relationships across the organisation and acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders at all levels.
- Providing support and cover for Senior Finance Business Partners as required, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial and strategic finance activities.

What you’ll bring
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or be qualified by experience.
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A role.
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills.
- Experience analysing and managing large cost bases, including payroll and operational expenditure.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with the confidence to challenge and provide recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting tools and large data sets.
- A proactive, curious and commercially minded approach to problem-solving.
