About the Role
Come join the UK FI Sales Team responsible for supporting Payments Sales Managers in managing client relationships and driving sales.
Job Summary
As a Payments FIG Sales – Associate within our dynamic sales team, you will support Sales Managers in fostering client relationships and promoting sales. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparing client research, pitching materials, and industry analyses
- Conducting project assignments
- Reviewing and analysing transactional data to identify trends, risks, and USPs (unique selling points)
- Supporting cross-functional stakeholder engagement to align broader firm interests with client objectives
Job Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in preparing sales pitch materials, client research, industry analysis, and project assignments
- Develop client account plans, briefing memos, and portfolio management reporting
- Assist the sales team in ensuring clients receive their agreed services
- Review and analyse transactional data—including account structure, cash flow, product usage, and regional/global setups—to highlight key trends, risks, and pricing inefficiencies
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, including pricing and fee billing set-up
- Support proposals for internal approvals and client execution
- Conduct research on client portfolios, identify wallet growth opportunities, and refine go-to-market strategies
- Engage in thorough due diligence for transaction flows, ensuring robust AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance
- Cross-functional collaboration to act as the client’s internal advocate, aligning firm-wide visions with client objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the sales team

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distil complex data into clear insights
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to mobilise internal resources and adapt to tight deadlines
- Motivational drive to develop both sales and technical expertise for future career progression
- A result-driven mindset—capable of high-pressure work to meet key targets
