Payments FIG Sales - Associate
Come join the UK FI Sales Team, responsible for providing support to Payments Sales Managers to manage client relationships and drive sales.
Job Summary
As a Payments FIG Sales - Associate within our dynamic sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Sales Managers in fostering client relationships and promoting sales. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing client research
- Developing pitching materials
- Conducting industry analysis
- Handling project assignments
- Reviewing and analysing transactional data to provide insights
- Coordination of cross-functional stakeholder engagement
Job Responsibilities
Support the Sales team with:
- Sales pitch materials, client research, industry analysis, and project assignments.
- Preparation of client account plans, briefing memos, and portfolio management reporting.
- Ensuring clients receive agreed services.
- Analysing transactional data to identify key trends, risks, and pricing/billing inefficiencies.
- Managing the end-to-end sales cycle, including pricing and fee billing setup.
- Understanding the client’s account structure, cash flow, product usage, and regional/global setup.
- Assisting in the preparation of proposals and materials for internal approvals.
- Conducting research on existing and prospective client portfolios, focusing on growing their wallet/s.
- Supporting due diligence to understand transaction flows and associated AML compliance risks.
- Serving as a client advocate in cross-functional engagements, ensuring alignment with both the firm’s and clients’ objectives.
- Developing internal and external relationships with key Sales team stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to synthesise complex problems into concise conclusions.
- Proven ability to mobilise internal networks and resources.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Desire to develop sales and technical skills for transition into a Sales role.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
