UK Flow Rates Sales
UK Flow Rates Sales Director
A leading Investment Bank is seeking a UK Flow Rates Sales Director to join their team in London.
Overall Purpose
The candidate will be responsible for strengthening the bank's footprint with UK Hedge Fund clients as part of the London Rates and FX team.
Products:
- Cash Products: SSA, Covered Bonds, EGBs
- Derivatives: IRS (Short and Long Term), Asset Swaps, XCurrency Swaps, Options
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to maintaining and growing the Bank’s current flow footprint with London-based clients.
- Further develop HF clients on flow.
- Further develop Interest Rates derivatives with frequent users.
- Further build the client base.
- Work seamlessly with partners: Trading, Structuring, MB/BO, Client Services, Coverage.
- Liaise with Account Managers and Relationship Managers in other areas of the Bank regarding cross-selling opportunities.
- Plan and organise client visits and meetings, establishing high-level contacts.
- Lead key discussions and negotiations with clients/investors—including Banks, non-bank—to develop trade opportunities.
- Develop knowledge of clients and their needs.
- Position the Bank to match capabilities with client needs.
- Co-ordinate the efficient execution of transactions with trading teams.
- Ensure transaction execution meets client and Bank requirements, notably regarding:
- Timely and professional pricing.
- Ethical execution of customer flows.

Job Requirements
Experience and Knowledge:
- Extensive experience in sales/trading within bond Rates flow (cash and derivatives).
- Extensive understanding of relevant products, markets, and trading.
- Good knowledge of market competition.
