UK GIS Support Apprentice

Reading | United Kingdom (GB) | Full-time | Fixed-term

Join our dynamic IT team and help deliver day-to-day support while contributing to digital transformation across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in technology who wants to build experience in IT support, cloud platforms and digital tools.

How you will make an impact

  • Be the first point of contact for IT support across UK GIS and STADA.
  • Provide technical support to end users remotely and face to face.
  • Log and resolve support requests in line with service processes and SLAs.
  • Maintain hardware and software records and support business continuity.
  • Help roll out and support digital tools such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Support automation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote good customer service, cybersecurity awareness and compliance with company policies.

What we are looking for

  • A strong interest in IT, technology and digital innovation.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks and cloud-based platforms.
  • Awareness of Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and good customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

With 3 manufacturing locations in the UK, the Huddersfield site is the hub for our Zoflora® and Covonia® brands along with manufacturing some key medicines for the healthcare sector.
