UK Quality Manager
UK Quality Manager – Fareham, Hampshire
About the Role An innovative engineering team is seeking a UK Quality Manager based in Fareham, Hampshire, to drive the management, development, and continuous improvement of quality, health, safety, and environmental systems across multiple UK sites.
The Quality Manager will expand their expertise through mentorship from peers and senior leaders, covering key areas such as ISO standards, supplier quality management, health & safety compliance, and production quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Work with operations, production, procurement, and engineering teams to define quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Create and maintain quality procedures, SOPs, and QMS/EMS documentation, adhering to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Develop and execute internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
- Debug, validate, and improve quality processes, supplier performance, and production standards using reporting tools and quality methodologies.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and customer teams for seamless integration of quality and compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive technical, quality, and compliance documentation.
- Support customers, suppliers, and internal teams with queries on quality, compliance, and technical matters.

Key Skills & Experience
- Degree or qualification in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in QMS/EMS systems, ERP systems, and quality reporting tools.
- Practical experience in:
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001
- Supplier quality management
- Manufacturing quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
