UK Regional Sales Manager

Regional Sales Executive – Electrostatic Earthing & Bonding Solutions

Location: Nottingham, UK (digital and field-based) Company: Newson Gale Ltd

Your Mission

As a Regional Sales Executive at Newson Gale Ltd, you’ll champion a customer-first approach, driving innovation in electrostatic earthing and bonding solutions while providing technical expertise to elevate market presence.

Your core mission?

  • Deliver tailored, standards-driven solutions that prioritise safety, compliance, and long-term value for customers across industries.
  • Partner with clients from shop floor operators to senior executives, ensuring seamless adoption of electrostatic earthing systems.

Newson Gale: 40 years of expertise in mitigating static electricity risks in hazardous areas (ATEX) with standards-based hardware solutions.


How You’ll Make a Difference

1. Lead with Expertise

  • Leverage deep knowledge of hazardous area environments (ATEX) and electrostatic earthing system certification to guide customers through complex technical challenges.
  • Be the trusted advisor who translates regulations into actionable, compliant solutions.

2. Customer-Centric Problem Solving

  • Understand and address unique customer needs, delivering cost-effective, high-impact solutions rooted in technical rigour.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency at every stage.

3. Challenger Sales Model

  • Teach, tailor, take control—adopt the Challenger Sales framework to challenge assumptions, anticipate needs, and drive customer trust.
  • Proactively educate on how our solutions resolve real-world static control challenges.

4. Technical Demonstrations

  • Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations, showcasing how our electrostatic earthing and bonding systems eliminate hazards.
  • Empower customers with hands-on or digital proof of concept to validate solutions.

5. Impactful Site Surveys & Reporting

  • Perform customised site surveys, documenting findings per agreed specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with customers to design ** Bespoke solutions** that align with their operational workflows.

6. Digital Sales Engagement

  • Leverage our Digital Sales Presentation suite (based in Nottingham) to deliver high-impact online demonstrations and pitches to global clients.

What We’re Looking For

Key Competencies

  • Sales Leadership

    • Proactively manage a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with team targets.
    • Drive closing rates and revenue growth through strategic account management.
  • Technical Expertise

    • Strong grasp of electrical, electronic, and control systems (especially in hazardous area environments).
    • Confidently engage with customers on technical specifications, certifications (ATEX, IEC/EX), and standards compliance.
  • Customer Engagement

    • Adapt communication style for diverse audiences—from operators to senior stakeholders—using solution-focused dialogue.
  • Process Efficiency

    • Precision in issuing quotations, orders, and compliance documentation while maintaining quality assurance standards.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability

    • Seamlessly switch between field visits and digital sales (video conferencing, presentations, CRM).
    • Quickly align with changing market demands and customer requirements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, technical sales, or engineering sales, preferably in electrical, electronic, or safety equipment sectors.
  • Preferred: Degree or professional certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, plus ATEX or hazardous area expertise.
  • Desirable:
    • Prior exposure to CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Hands-on experience with static control, grounding, or industrial safety solutions.
