About the Role

Are you driven by retail excellence and delivering first-class customer service? Thriving in a collaborative environment where teamwork and community excite you? Mountain Warehouse is seeking a passionate, proactive Sales Assistant to join our Cross Hands team.

As a Sales Assistant, you will be integral to ensuring our store runs smoothly while offering shoppers an outstanding, personalised experience. Your duties span maintaining high presentation standards, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, and embedding our brand values of passion, respect, and ownership—all while prioritising health, safety, and colleague wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities

💡 Team Collaboration

  • Work cohesively with colleagues to build an inclusive and supportive team environment.
  • Participate actively in team discussions and problem-solving, contributing unique ideas towards achieving shared goals.
  • Share expertise with colleagues to train new and existing team members.

📦 Operational Excellence

  • Support daily store operations—ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process transactions efficiently, handling all payment methods accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing sales floor, with products attractively displayed and well-stocked.
  • Stay informed on product features, promotions, and pricing, enabling customers to receive expert guidance.
  • Assist in setting up and executing in-store promotions to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
