UK Sales Manager
UK Sales Manager – Join Us, Shape the Future

Core Responsibilities
The UK Sales Manager—reporting to the Senior Director, Sales—will lead commercial growth, customer retention, and sales team development across the UK. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the UK commercial organisation, driving accountability, coaching, and performance management
- Developing and executing commercial growth strategies to achieve double-digit business growth and deepen market penetration
- Building and maintaining executive-level relationships with:
- Water utilities
- Engineering consultancies
- Contractors
- Environmental stakeholders
- Managing sales forecasting, CRM compliance, pipeline health assessments, funnel reviews, and commercial reporting for consistent business performance
- Collaborating with service, operations, technical support, and marketing teams to deliver strategic customer projects and large-scale monitoring programmes
- Leading major commercial negotiations, strategic account planning, and complex business opportunities across the UK water sector
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities, including:
- AMP8 investment-related projects
- Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) monitoring
- Section 82 requirements
- Broad environmental monitoring initiatives

Employment Terms
- Location: UK-based role with a remote-first approach
- Regular customer-facing time across the UK
- Periodic visits to the Redditch office for leadership and team development
- Travel requirement: at least 50% of working time expected to be on-site or in travel
Essential Requirements
To excel in this high-impact role, you should have:
- Proven experience in:
- B2B technical sales, commercial leadership, or business development
- Leading and developing commercial, sales, or account management teams
- Selling into the UK water industry (environmental monitoring, instrumentation, water quality, utilities, wastewater, or related industrial sectors)
- Developing and executing commercial growth strategies
- Managing sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM systems
- Leading complex sales opportunities (multi-stakeholder, strategic accounts, or enterprise-level customers)
- Operating within a large multinational organisation with exposure to matrix business environments
