UK Sales & Operations Executive
AQF Ingredients has been serving the British and European food industry since 2006. With direct factory ownership in India and a fully established UK operation, AQF offers one of the shortest and most efficient supply chains in the industry.
Our UK operation is BRCGS accredited, while our manufacturing facility is FSSC 22000 certified, and approved for Kosher, Halal, and FDA requirements.

About the Role
As AQF enters the next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and entrepreneurial-driven professional to join our team as a UK Sales & Operations Executive.
This unique position requires someone who excels in both business development and operational management within our international ingredients business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK market
- Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Represent AQF at trade exhibitions, industry conferences, and networking events
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer requirements

Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our UK customers
- Manage customer accounts and orders, overseeing the process from enquiry to delivery
- Follow up on customer payments and ensure healthy accounts receivable
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and after-sales support
Operations & Logistics
- Oversee end-to-end UK import operations
- Coordinate deliveries with logistics providers and customer dispatch teams
- Resolve logistics and supply chain issues to maintain smooth and uninterrupted service
Inventory & Supply Planning
- Monitor warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records
- Plan stock replenishment based on sales forecasts and demand
Compliance & Reporting
- Support UK import compliance activities
- Maintain up-to-date records of shipments, invoices, inventory, and customer communications
- Prepare sales, inventory, operational, and performance reports for management
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a motivated candidate with: ✔ Experience in Food Ingredients, Spices, Seasonings, Food Manufacturing, Pet Food Ingredients, or related industries ✔ Strong business development and account management skills ✔ Experience managing UK import, logistics, or supply chain operations ✔ The ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of business outcomes ✔ Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
