Position Overview

Benefiting from a thriving commercial ecosystem, Benchmark Gensuite is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive (Deal Owner). You’ll focus on building and owning sales pipelines, driving revenue, and seeing B2B SaaS deals through from prospecting to closure for our revolutionary Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Sustainability, and Operational Excellence software solutions**.

Ideal candidates are commercial powerhouses—key players with deep experience in enterprise SaaS sales who thrive in dynamic environments. Proven success in complex B2B SaaS sales cycles, relationship-building, and relationship ownership are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire sales lifecycle—from prospect identification, relationship management to contract execution and deal closure.
  • Identify high-value business opportunities within target enterprise accounts across targeted industries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business executives, stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive pipeline growth and maximize revenue potential.
  • Conduct discovery conversations and deliver customized, high-impact demonstrations aligned with client objectives.
  • Collaborate across teams (Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product) to deliver a seamless customer journey.
  • Negotiate commercial terms while ensuring customer needs and company alignment.
  • Leading and maintaining CRM systems, pipeline forecasting, and sales forecasting accuracy.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging Edo**choologies, and competitive developments in EHS, Sustainability, and ESG reporting.
  • Represent Benchmark Gensuite at customer meetings and industry events, fostering brand ambassadorship.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of SaaS Sales Experience in customer-facing enterprise or high-touch roles.
  • Proven track record closing complex B2B SaaS deals with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated consistent success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience selling enterprise software solutions and driving impact across large accounts.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed in product and industry knowledge, with hands-on experience delivering demonstrations.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar).
  • Discretionary advantage if familiar with EHS/Sustainability/ESG, risk management, or Operational Excellence.

Nice To Have

  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
  • Existing network or prior experience working in European markets.
