UK Tax Restructuring Manager / Legal Entity Simplification Lead £750 per day PAYE 16-18 Month Contract Remote UK (occasional travel if required) PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE SIGNIFICANT HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE OF LEGAL ENTITY SIMPLIFICATION, LEGAL ENTITY RATIONALISATION OR CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING IMPLEMENTATION. This is not a tax reporting, tax compliance, Pillar Two, transfer pricing or business-as-usual corporate tax role. We are supporting a FTSE 100 business undertaking a major legal entity simplification programme and are looking for an experienced tax professional who has delivered restructuring activity within large multinational groups. The successful candidate will be joining an established programme where much of the strategic thinking has already been completed. The requirement is for someone who can work through the practical implementation and delivery of the programme. To be considered, you should be able to demonstrate experience such as: Legal entity simplification programmes involving multiple entities (typically 15+ entities and often significantly more) Legal entity rationalisation Entity mergers Liquidations and strike-offs Dormant entity programmes Holding company simplification Financing company simplification Ownership chain restructuring Reorganisation step plans Restructuring implementation across multiple jurisdictions Working closely with Legal, Finance and external advisers to deliver restructuring activity This is a hands-on delivery role. You should be able to point to specific examples where you personally delivered restructuring activity rather than simply reviewing, overseeing or advising on work completed by others. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on the following are unlikely to be suitable: Tax reporting Tax compliance Pillar Two Transfer pricing SAO / CCO Tax governance Advisory-only restructuring projects Tax business partnering without restructuring implementation experience The ideal candidate is likely to have gained experience within: Large multinational groups Corporate restructuring programmes Legal entity simplification projects Big 4 restructuring teams followed by in-house implementation experience Complex international corporate structures If you have led or delivered significant legal entity simplification or restructuring programmes and are available to start at short notice, I would be very interested in speaking with you.
