We are looking for highly motivated people, who have the ability to engage and inspire colleagues, and who are looking for an enriching and educational experience themselves. The Transfer Manager is expected to ensure the efficient management and smooth running of all Airport/Train Station student transfers. The Transfer Manager bears overall responsibility for meeting Alpadia’s ambition of successful student transfers, both arriving and departing the UK Language Camps. This will involve managing the performance of the Airport Representative Team, maintaining positive relationships with our transfer providers, quality controlling every aspect of transfers and completing all administrative tasks speedily and professionally. Our Airport Team are the first and last Alpadia staff members that students will encounter so a positive experience is paramount for maintaining Alpadia’s reputation. To achieve optimum management of the transfers, the Transfer Manager should ensure the following key responsibilities are carried out fully and competently.   Key responsibilities:Staff Management Manage all staff effectively and respectfully, considering their personal development and providing all necessary support, to ensure they contribute to a high standard of service for students arriving and departing. Lead meetings to drive performance and relay important messages. Lead and assist with the training and induction of staff members. Assist the regional manager with the performance management of staff in cases of deficient performance and disciplinary action.  Student Management Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care. Manage all student/parent/agent queries effectively and respectfully, following all Alpadia policies and rules, to ensure they enjoy and contribute fully to all aspects of Alpadia’s programme in a spirit of respect towards other students and staff.  Communication  Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in our camps, head office, transfer providers and customer care teams, ensuring that all find Alpadia to be a professional and respectful partner, parents/agents are kept fully up to date with all crucial elements of their student’s transfer with us via our Sales and Admissions team and your line managers are aware of all key developments in the process. Complaint Management Effectively manage and respond to student/parent/agent complaints in a professional and timely manner, conducting enquiries with the airport/camp teams where necessary. Collaborate with the UK Language Camps Manager, the UK Language Camps Area Managers and the Camp Management Teams to ensure we continuously improve our processes to avoid complaints in the future. Administration Ensure the administration, in terms of weekend departure/arrival data and UM details are well organised and delivered to partners on time to ensure the smooth running of the airport transfers and follow all Alpadia procedures and policies. Lead and contribute towards managing the airport transfer communication channels. Inform the Camp Management Teams of student departures each Friday in good time. Relationships Manage your working relationships professionally and sensitively, providing support and feedback to your Transfers Team. Work closely with our transfer providers to maintain our existing positive relationship.
