PURPOSE

The SBU Transformation Lead reports to the Managing Director of the region and to the Director of the global Transformation Office. This role is responsible for planning and execution of prioritised transformation initiatives, working in close partnership with local leadership, while aligning with ongoing BAU activities. This role ensures constant alignment between the region and the central transformation team and workstreams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

  • Define the local, prioritised, integrated transformation roadmap and success criteria
  • Develop detailed deployment plans with resource/capability view across all transformation initiatives (Commercial, Operations, Org Efficiency)
  • Ensures cross functional engagement where needed between workstreams and functions in the region
  • Ensure other BAU business activities are known and considered within transformation planning (providing a complete view of SBU activity)

Initiative execution and tracking

  • Ensure the delivery of the transformation roadmap through overall management across initiatives and hands-on delivery support in the early stages / during pilot stage
  • Coordinate activity across all relevant stakeholders inc. leadership teams, IT, HR, business process owners & functions
  • Track initiative deployment progress against milestones/KPIs/budget/benefits, provide updates and run meetings with key stakeholders
  • Run problem solving sessions with Initiative teams who are falling behind or are at risk of doing so, with the aim to debottleneck the situation and get the initiative back on track
  • Support delivery of and updates to the transformation deployment playbook (align with Group Transformation Office)

Change, Training and Comms

  • Manage the change and communication cascade within the SBU
  • Assess the quality of the change management milestones in the initiative L3 plans and provide feedback for improvement
  • Ensure there are operational KPI’s defined on initiative level to measure adoption
  • Pro-actively coach Initiative Owners on the execution of change management activities, with the aim of successful adoption of change
  • Monitor adoption KPI’s on initiative level and pro-actively reach out to Initiative Owners when KPI’s are falling behind

Continuous Improvement

  • Work with other SBU Transformation Leads to ensure the execution methods are applied consistently i.e. working groups, pilot, co-creation, roll out implementations and best practice sharing
  • Lead transition to business-as-usual (BAU) support and ensure that structure/capability is in place to identify ongoing improvement opportunities

Background

The right candidate will likely have the following background:

  • Project, program and portfolio management experience
  • Change management experience
  • Coaching experience Experience working in the context of a large transformation program
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization Experience working in an international setting
