We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and well-established business and private aviation operator based at London Stansted Airport. Serving a highly demanding clientele that includes VVIP, Head of State, Oil & Gas and SAR operators, this is an environment where engineering excellence and customer service are held to the very highest standard. The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced UKCAA B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a skilled and professional engineering team delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to a prestigious rotary wing clientele. You will be responsible for line and base maintenance activities under Part 145, certifying aircraft within your approval limits and overseeing maintenance to ensure full safety and regulatory compliance.

You will also serve as a key point of contact for customers and flight crew, handling enquiries professionally and seeing them through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing and certifying line and base maintenance under Part 145 within approval limits
- Overseeing maintenance activities to ensure safety, compliance and airworthiness
- Acting as first point of contact for customer and crew enquiries, managing through to completion
- Flexible working to support business needs, including travel to other locations as required
- Maintaining the very highest standards of technical and customer-facing professionalism
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute unpaid break)
Average working week: 40 hours
Flexibility required at times in line with business needs. Travel to other locations may be required.
The Successful Candidate
- UK Part 66 B1.3 licence — essential
- Type ratings on one or more of the following preferred: S-92A, AW139, S-76C++, H155
- Additional allowances available for dual licence holders and C Certification privileges
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively across departments
- Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable — comfortable working away from base when required
- Full UK driving licence required
- Right to live and work in the UK — sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate, subject to licence requirements
- 5-year checkable history required for airport ID pass
