US/UK Tax Assistant Manager

London | Hybrid Working

A fast-growing specialist tax practice is looking to hire a US/UK Tax Assistant Manager to join its expanding private client team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to develop their career within a collaborative environment that combines technical excellence with a modern approach to client service.

The firm advises a broad range of internationally mobile individuals, dual nationals, US citizens living in the UK, entrepreneurs, executives, and high-net-worth families, providing complex cross-border tax advisory and compliance services.

The Opportunity

You will manage a diverse portfolio of US and UK tax clients, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality compliance work while building strong client relationships and supporting more junior team members.

The role offers significant exposure to complex cross-border matters and would suit someone who enjoys working across both tax systems rather than being purely focused on one jurisdiction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
