0.6 FTE Fixed term with an end date of 31st July 2027. Secondment opportunities will be considered for this role.
Lancaster Medical School is looking to appoint an Undergraduate Assistant to join the professional services team.
You will provide administrative support for the undergraduate medical degree programme, supporting a range of activities across the Department.
Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using Microsoft Office packages are essential, as is the ability to work flexibly as part of a rapidly expanding department.
A proven team player and confident communicator, you will be committed to integrating into a busy office environment, working closely with a wide range of colleagues.
Experience of working in a higher education environment is not essential; we will support you to settle in and excel in the role.
About You
To be a suitable candidate for this position you will have:
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail when handling information and data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A curious mindset and commitment to personal and team development.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach.
