Your Placement
Your placement in the Pharmaxo Scientific Research and Development Team is to support a team of scientists in the stability testing of small molecule and biopharmaceutical products with the goal of extending the shelf life of those products. This will primarily be via performing laboratory analyses, validations, and all associated data processing and documentation.
The role also requires oversight of routine maintenance for laboratory equipment according to planned schedules and compliance with SOPs, Risk assessments, and COSHH regulations. This placement is designed to support an individual's higher educational development, typically as a 3rd-year industry placement.

This is a 12-month industry placement to be commencing in early September (07/09/2026).

- Annual salary: £26,064
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years of service)
- Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
