Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC) is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our growing Accident & Health (A&H) division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing, technology-driven insurance wholesaler backed by leading private equity firm Onex. Based remotely within the UK, you will play a key role in developing business across the European market, building strong broker relationships, and helping drive ambitious growth plans. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking Insurtech business where you will have the autonomy to make a real impact while working closely with an experienced leadership team. In particular, you will: Review complex insurance applications and assess levels of risk against underwriting guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with producing brokers to achieve growth targets. Develop and expand ISC’s A&H portfolio across the European market Utilise underwriting systems, databases, and software to accurately evaluate and price risks. Offer recommendations to reduce client exposure and improve insurance submissions. Collaborate closely with the underwriting team to ensure efficient processing of applications. Ensure all underwriting activity complies with industry and regulatory standards. Share market insight, knowledge, and expertise to support team development. Help contribute towards ambitious business growth targets and premium goals. Who we are looking for: We are looking for a commercially minded and experienced Underwriter with strong knowledge of the Accident & Health insurance market. You will ideally have existing broker relationships, experience handling larger accounts, and the confidence to work independently within a fully remote environment. You will also have: Strong experience underwriting or related insurance experience Previous experience within Accident & Health underwriting ACII qualification or currently working towards it Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Existing relationships with producing brokers Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and underwriting software A flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow Why you will love working here: Fully remote and flexible working arrangement.
