Introduction Responsible for supporting the Underwriting team by processing new business, any adjustments and renewals as well as providing management information to Underwriters in a timely manner. Responsibilities Process new business, renewals and any adjustments using departmental systems and complying with agreed procedures. Prepare and issue documentation complying with regulatory requirements. Accurately record, monitor and follow up quote data. Respond to queries from Underwriters and Unicorn’s Brokers in a timely and professional manner to enhance the reputation of Unicorn. Data verification to ensure integrity and accuracy of systems, data & MI Discuss and prepare new business submissions for Underwriting as required. Develop relationships with Unicorn’s Brokers to ensure best possible service levels and successful outcomes. Provide regular management information and statistics to the team. Handle general administration duties. Undertake any other responsibilities which may become necessary for the proper performance of the role. Attend training & meetings where required Support Underwriters with box presence Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications Good knowledge of relevant product class and the London Market an advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills Able to analyse and understand data in various formats Good communication skills both written and verbal Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Willingness to learn and proactively self-develop Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Proficient in rating tools & modelling software Key Competencies Accurate Data and Management of Information Communicating and Influencing Skills Numerical Customer Focus Decision Making Information Seeking Negotiation and Persuasion Skills Planning and Organising Relationship Building Team Working Data curiosity
