Unique Leadership Opportunity for an SME Underwriter
This is a unique and opportunity for an experienced SME Underwriter to step into a leadership role with broader strategic responsibility, supporting the Head of Property & Casualty.
We are seeking an individual who combines strong technical underwriting expertise with a passion for mentoring and developing others. You'll enjoy the technical aspects of underwriting—including pricing, referrals, and portfolio management—while also playing a key role in shaping the future direction of a rapidly growing commercial package underwriting platform.

Working within a large, global specialty insurance group renowned for its innovative approach, you will be involved in:
- Technical underwriting and referral decision-making
- Portfolio and capacity management
- Product development and proposition enhancement
- Distribution strategy and broker relationship management
- Coaching and mentoring less experienced underwriters
- Supporting business growth and underwriting strategy alongside senior leadership
