Short-Term Consultancy Opportunity – World Water Congress (WASH Focus)

About the Role
UNICEF UK is seeking an experienced consultant to support our presence and engagement at the International World Water Congress (WWC) taking place in Glasgow from 4–8 October 2026.
This consultancy will play a key role in strengthening UNICEF’s engagement with the UK water industry, supporting our work in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). The consultant will work closely with UNICEF UK’s fundraising and technical teams to maximise opportunities from this high-profile event and deliver a coordinated project plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead liaison with external stakeholders, including event organisers and partners
- Manage UNICEF’s presence at the World Water Congress, including any side events
- Oversee event delivery, including design, print, and logistics, as required
- Coordinate effectively with internal working groups across fundraising and technical teams
- Develop a post-event report, including recommendations and forward planning for the UN Water Conference
- Provide support on travel and accommodation arrangements, where required

Person Specification
We are looking for a consultant with:
- Proven experience delivering high-profile events and stakeholder engagement projects
- A strong track record of managing corporate partnerships
- Excellent project management and coordination skills
- The ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external partners
- Experience within the water sector, international development, or WASH is highly desirable
